MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING DATED JULY 26, 2016

NEW BUSINESS
16-8 – NUNZIO & IRENE CORSION – 124 FOUR MILE RIVER ROAD – TWO LOT SUBDIVISION
Joe Wren, Professional Engineer was present to discuss the application. Wren stated that the applicant is proposing a 2-lot subdivision on a 20 acre parcel located off of Four Mile River Road . He stated the proposal also includes 6 acres of open space with the division which is double the requirement of the regulations. He stated the proposed open space is contiguous to other Old Lyme Land Trust properties on three sides. He stated the existing building and structures will remain on Lot 1 and no development is proposed at this time but noted they have shown possible locations for the house, septic and driveway. He said there is an existing driveway that includes a culvert crossing that has been there for some time and was installed under an agricultural exemption. Wren stated that
prior to any development on the site the applicant would be submitting the appropriate applications for review.
The commission set a Site Walk for Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.

PUBLIC COMMENT
Mr. Balchunas came before the commission to explain his concerns with regard to his pond being impacted by the adjacent subdivision.
The commission gave him information regarding pond water quality analysis.
No action was taken.
APPROVAL OF 2017 MEETING CALENDAR
The commission reviewed the meeting calendar.
